What is the Safety Officer Course?

The Safety Officer course is a very practical training course developed specifically for Safety Officers that assist companies to manage compliance with South African legislation. Anyone interested in entering a career in the Health & Safety industry should complete this course.

These course modules can be completed individually on any dates available in our training schedule. Once all course modules are completed, access is granted to an online Safety Officer assessment with case studies and a final exam.

Can I RPL the Safety Officer Course if I have already completed the individual modules that make up this training programme?

Yes! The Safety Officer Certification can be done online if you are able to provide valid certificates for First Aid Level 1, 2 & 3 Combined, Basic Fire Fighting, Legal Liability, SHE Representative, RISK Assessment, Accident/Incident Investigations, Emergency Evacuation, Hazardous Material Handling and OHS Supervisor Certification.
