What is the Safety Plus Course Package?

The Safety Plus course package has been developed specifically for Safety Officers that assist companies to manage compliance with South Africa legislation. It comprises of numerous course modules that we recommend to persons working within the Health & Safety industry. It is made up of 10 modules:



  • First Aid Level 1, 2 & 3 Combined
- Basic Fire Fighting
- Legal Liability
  • SHE Representative
- RISK Assessment
  • Accident/Incident Investigations

  • Emergency Evacuation
- Hazardous Material Handling

  • OHS Supervisor Certificate
  • Safety Officer Certificate

These course modules can be completed individually on any dates available in our training schedule. Once all course modules are completed, access is granted to an online Safety Officer assessment with case studies and a final exam.

DURATION

- 2 weeks for all course modules
- 1 day for online assessment module.

CERTIFICATE VALIDITY

2 year expiry for individual course modules.
 No expiry for SAIOSH Safety Officer certificate.
